ముందు ఉచితంగా "పని" చేయండి
చాలా కాలం క్రితం చదివిన ఒక కధ గుర్తుకొస్తోంది.
ఒక తెలివైన వ్యక్తి, వ్యాపారం చెయ్యాలని అనుకొంటాడు.
తనకున్న పరిమితులను, చుట్టూ ఉన్న పరిస్థితులను పరిశీలించుకొన్న తరువాత, ఒక రోజు సాయంత్రం మంచి రుచికరంగా "వడ" లను తయారుచేసి, తన పరిసరాలలో పనిచేసుకొంటున్న వారికి "ఉచితం" గా పంచిపెడతాడు.
ఈ విధంగా రెండు మూడు రోజులు చేసేటప్పటికి, సాయంత్రంవేళ ఆ రుచికరమైన వడలను తినటానికి అక్కడి ప్రజలు అలవాటు పడతారు. నాల్గవ రోజు, వడ ఒకటి 3 రూపాయలు అని చెప్పి ఇస్తాడు. అక్కడ లోకల్ గా దొరికే వడ ధర 5 రూపాయలు కాబట్టి, అదీగాక, అతను తమ దగ్గరికే తీసుకొని వచ్చి ఇస్తాడు, అదీ కాక రుచికరంగా కూడా ఉంటాయి కాబట్టి, అందరూ సంతోషంగా అతని వడలను కొంటారు.
కొన్ని రోజుల తరువాత, తన షాప్ కు వచ్చి తీసుకొంటే వడ కు 4 రూపాయలని, అదే వాళ్ళ వద్దకే తీసుకొని వచ్చి ఇవ్వాలంటే వడకు 7రూపాయలు అని చెబుతాడు. లోకల్ గా దొరికే వడల కన్నా, ఇతని దగ్గరి వడలు రుచికరం గా ఉంటాయి కాబట్టి, ఇవ్వగలిగే వాళ్ళు అతనికి 7రూపాయాల ధరకు, తమదగ్గరికే పంపమని చెబుతారు. అంత ధర పెట్టలేని వాళ్ళు అతని షాప్ దగ్గరికే వెళ్లి తినటం చేస్తారు. ఎందుకంటే, లోకల్ గా దొరికే వాటికన్నా రుచిగా ఉంటాయి & ఒక రూపాయి తక్కువ కూడా కాబట్టి.
ఈ స్ట్రాటజీ వల్ల అతని వ్యాపారం దినదినాభివృద్ధి చెంది, ఆ ప్రాంతంలో అతి ఎక్కువ మందిని ఆకర్షించి, అతనికి ఎక్కువ లాభాలను తెచ్చి పెడుతుంది.
పై స్ట్రాటజీ వ్యాపారం లోనే కాదు, ఉద్యోగం లో కూడా [అది ప్రైవేట్ కానీ, గవర్నమెంట్ ఉద్యోగం లో కానీ], మంచి ఫలితాలను చూపెడుతుంది, అనేది నాకు కూడా అనుభవమే.
మనం "ప్రో-యాక్టీవ్" గా ఉంటూ, మన పనిలో "క్వాలిటి" ఉంటే, ఏ సంస్థ లో అయినా మనకు ఒకదాని తరువాత ఒక ప్రమోషన్ వచ్చి, తొందరగా ఉన్నత స్థానం లోకి వెళ్లగలుగుతాం.
నేను గ్రామీణ బ్యాంకు లో పనిచేసినప్పుడు ఈ స్ట్రాటజీ ఫాలో అయినందు వల్లే, నా బ్యాచ్ లో చేరిన అందరి కంటే ముందు మేనేజర్ గా అవ్వటం, ఎక్కువ రోజులు మంచి పొజిషన్ లో పనిచేయటం జరిగింది. ఆ ఉద్యోగం నచ్చక వదిలేసిన తరువాత కూడా,,,,, "ఆనందంగా" ఉండగల్గటం సాధ్యం అయ్యింది.
ఇందుమూలంగా యువకులకు, మధ్య వయస్కులకు నేను చేప్పేది ఏంటంటే....
మీరు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నా ప్రో-ఆక్టివ్ గా ఉంటూ, మీది కాని పనిని కూడా "ఉచితంగా" చేస్తూ, మీ పనిలో ఉన్నత విలువలను మెయింటెన్ చేస్తూ ఉంటే, అవకాశాలు అనేవి మిమ్ములను వెతుక్కొంటూ వచ్చి, అందలానికి తీసుకొని వెళతాయి. కావాలంటే, నాదీ పూచీ.

First "DO / WORK " for FREE
Long back, I read an interesting story.
One intelligent person wants to start a business.
After analyzing his financial resources, local conditions, etc, one evening he prepared tasty snackes and distributed them FREE, ["means without any price"], to the local working community.
People got accustomed to eating those tasty snacks in the evening time, in three days.
On the fourth day, he fixed the price as Rs.3 per one snack. As the locally available snacks cost is Rs.5 for one, the people gladly came forward to purchase the snacks.
After a few days, he announced that the cost of the snack will be Rs.7 for the door-delivery and Rs.4 at his shop. As his snacks are tastier than the locally available and that too being supplied as door-delivery, people who can afford, asked him to supply.
The people who cannot afford them go to his shop, as the snacks are testier and cheaper than the locally available snacks.
His business improved day-after-day in leaps & bounds, attracted many customers and fetched him great profits, due to the above "strategy".
Not only in business, but also in any job [ be it in private or in Government sector], this strategy generates great results. This I have experienced in real life too.
When we are “Pro-Active”, maintain “quality” in our work, then we get many opportunities, get promotions one after other and climb the ladder of higher positions, in any venture. This was the reason behind I got an early posting as the Manager before the other officers of my batch, who got recruited in the Grameena Bank job. Further it also helped me in holding good positions for longer periods. Even though I resigned from that job as it does not suit my taste, yet I am living “happily” now also, even in the absence of the pension income.
Through this narration, I would like to inform the younger generations ……
Wherever you may be, be “Pro-Active”, accept and DO [freely] any work with commitment [& without demanding extra] and maintain good "quality" in work. This will attract the good opportunities and take YOU to the top positions. I guarantee this.
