Saadique Good Mannerisam
Assalaam
Alaikum, My Dear Family Members!
I am delighted to share an inspiring and
commendable quality of Mr. Saadique, the son of my cousin Iqbal Bhai. His
behavior and concern for elders reflect a unique sense of responsibility and
respect that deserves our acknowledgment and appreciation.
Yesterday morning, I received a WhatsApp
phone call from Mr. Saadique. Despite being occupied with the burial
formalities of his grandmother, he took the time to express his concern about
the condition of my hands. He apologized for not inquiring earlier due to his
busy schedule and asked me about the bandages he had noticed during our last
interaction. I explained to him that I had suffered fractures in both wrists
due to a scooter skid about one and a half months ago. The doctor had applied
POP bandages, which were removed a few days back. However, as part of the
recovery process, I am still wearing splints on both hands for the next four
weeks. After a brief discussion, we concluded the call.
As I reflected on our conversation, I was
deeply moved by Mr. Saadique’s thoughtfulness. At the age of around 40, he
exhibits a rare quality of showing genuine concern for elders. This level of
respect and care is often missing in others of his age group, whether within
our family or in today’s younger generation in general. It reminded me of the
family values and formalities that my generation upheld but are now gradually
fading away.
To express my gratitude and admiration, I
sent a WhatsApp message to Mr. Saadique in the afternoon:
In response, he humbly replied:
"It’s my responsibility to take care of
all my elders because you all have shown me the good path of life."
This meaningful exchange is documented in the
attached screenshot of our WhatsApp chat.
I find his mannerisms not only commendable but
also an example worth emulating. It is rare to find such sincerity and respect
among the younger generation today, and I believe this deserves recognition.
Through this blog post, I aim to highlight
Mr. Saadique’s exemplary behavior and encourage our family’s younger members to
adopt similar values. Let us take inspiration from his actions and strive to
preserve the traditions and respect that have been the foundation of our family
for generations.
As one of the elders of our family, I
consider it my duty to guide the younger generations towards better manners and
values in their day-to-day lives. I hope this message resonates with all of you
and serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of respect and care within
our family.
What do you say, my dear family members? Let
us all take a moment to appreciate and follow such praiseworthy actions.
Jazak
ALLAAH Khaire,
Abdul
