సెల్ఫ్-స్టార్టర్
మనకు మంచి పేరు, ప్రఖ్యాతులు, ఇంకా ఎన్నో, ఎన్నో "సాధించాలనే" కోరికలు ఉంటాయి.
అవకాశాలు లేవనో, రాలేదనో, మనం ఎదురుచూస్తూ ఉంటాము.
అనేక కారణాల వలన, మన "సమయం" అంతా,ఆ ఎదురుచూపులోనే అయిపోతుంది.
పరిస్థితులు ఎలా ఉన్నా, మనకు కావలసింది దొరకాలంటే, ముందుగా మనం "సెల్ఫ్-స్టార్టర్" గా మారాలి. మనకు కావలసిన పరిస్థితులను/అవకాశాలను మనమే కల్పించుకొంటూ, ముందుకు సాగా గలిగితే, అప్పుడు మనలను ఆపగలిగేవారుండరు కదా!
ఇందుకు నా జీవితంలో జరిగిన ఒక సంఘటన చెబుతాను.
నేను 1980s లో ఉద్యోగ ప్రయత్నాలు చేసేటప్పుడు, ఇప్పటిలా క్యాంపస్ సెలెక్షన్స్, ఎన్నో కంపెనీస్ లో సాఫ్ట్-వేర్ ఉదోగాలు దొరికేవి కావు. జాబ్స్ లిమిటెడ్ గా ఉండేవి. కష్టపడి వ్రాత పరీక్షల్లో పాస్ అయి, మెరిట్ లో interveiw దాకా వెళ్లినా, అక్కడ 1 పోస్ట్ కొరకు 10 నుంచి 15 కాండిడేట్స్ ను పిలిచేవారు. ఇంటర్వ్యూలో వాళ్ళ ప్రశ్నలకు ఏమి సమాధానం చెబుతాం అనే దాని కన్నా, ఎలా చెబుతాం అన్నదానిమీదే మన సెలక్షన్ ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది అన్న విషయం అందరికీ తెలిసిందే కదా. అందుకు నేను ఏమిచేసేవాడినంటే, ఇంటర్వ్యూ మొదలైనప్పటినుంచి, నాకు బాగా తెలిసిన విషయాలను, ఒక పాయింట్ లాగా, ఏదోఒక విధంగా నేను చెప్పే ఆన్సర్స్ లో ఇరికించి చెప్పే వాడిని. అది ఇంటర్వ్యూ బోర్డు లో ఉన్న వారిని, ఆ విషయాలమీద ప్రశ్నలు సంధించేటట్లు చేసేది. అక్కడి నుంచి, మిగతా ప్రాసెస్ అంతా, నేను కావాలనుకొన్నట్లుగా సాగేది.
ఇదే టెక్నిక్కు, ఇప్పటికీ ఫాలో అవుతుంటాను.
అందుకే, అవకాశాల కొరకు ఎదురు చూడటం కన్నా, వాటిని కల్పించుకొంటూ ముందుకు సాగితే, మన జీవితం, మన చేతుల్లో ఉంటుంది కదా! ఏమంటారు ??

Self – Starter
We
desire to “achieve” good name, fame, etc., etc., in our life and we eagerly
wait for the opportunities.
Due
to various reasons, our precious time gets wasted in this waiting.
However
the circumstances may be, if we want to achieve what we desire, we should
become as the self-starters. When we create the required opportunities on our
own, then there will be no one to stop us.
I
will narrate one live example happened in my life.
In
1980s, there were no campus interviews or freely offered multinational software
jobs. The job opportunities were very limited. Even after successfully getting through
written exams and selected for the interview, for 1 post, 10 to 15 candidates
will be there to compete. As all are aware, in the interviews, the selection
depends mainly on “how” we answer than “what” we tell. Here I use to adopt on technique.
From the commencement of the interview, I use to tactfully add one point of well-known
subject, in my answers. It will make the interview board members to ask
questions on the topic of my interests. From there onwards, the remaining
interview will go on in the way, which I want.
I
am still following this technique.
Hence,
instead of waiting for the opportunities, if we create them and proceed, then
our life journey will be as per our will & wish. What do you say?
