Helping Hands Strategy...!!!

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Helping Hands!

In the course of our daily lives, we all encounter challenges and difficulties; it's a universal experience. Typically, individuals navigate these obstacles through their own efforts and perseverance. However, in certain complex situations, despite their best attempts, people may find themselves unable to resolve their problems due to constraints such as time, knowledge, or technology.

The Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) is committed to addressing and resolving these lingering, unresolved issues and problems at no cost to those in need.

About the HHF:
HHF, established as a trust in 2011, welcomes individuals driven by a spirit of service, regardless of their caste, creed, religion, financial status, or profession.

HHF Vision statement:
Our vision is to empower Indian citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to resolve their issues systematically.

HHF Mission:
We aim to assist the needy by practically demonstrating how to overcome their challenges.

HHF working style:
HHF adheres to the adage, "Instead of giving a person a fish, teach them how to catch it themselves." This principle ensures self-reliance and independence. We do not engage in any financial transactions with anyone. Instead, we take on long-standing issues and pursue them, involving the affected individuals in the process to provide practical training and experience.

For the commencement of the HHF persuasion process:
To begin the HHF resolution process, individuals with unresolved issues must draft a detailed representation addressed to the Managing Director, of the Helping Hands Foundation. This representation, along with supporting documents and photographs, should be sent via email (hhftpt@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (9491135998)

Upon receiving the representation, one of our HHF associates will visit the applicant's location to verify the facts and gather necessary information. They will prepare a report for submission to the MD, HHF. The matter will then be presented to HHF members for their input.

Subject matter experts from various fields will provide suggestions on how to address the issue. HHF will initiate the resolution process by emailing all the issue's details to the relevant officials, with copies to their superiors. If there is no response after three reminders, each sent at 15-day intervals, an application will be filed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act to request an action taken report (ATR) regarding HHF's follow-up.

After receipt of the RTI reply and knowing the actual reasons & lacunae of the issue, suitable action will be initiated to resolve it.

HHF financial management:
  • HHF provides its services free of charge.
  • All HHF associates are dedicated volunteers who offer their services without any compensation.
  • HHF does not accept funding or contributions from individuals, organizations, or government entities, both domestic and foreign.
  • The foundation does not engage in charitable activities or donations, and it does not maintain a bank account or conduct any financial transactions such as collecting fees, service charges, or accepting/donating funds.
In brief, HHF does not have a Bank account and will not involve any type of financial transactions like collecting fees or service charges or accepting/donating funds, etc.

How to become our HHF Associate:

Individuals interested in becoming HHF associates can simply provide their name and address through email (hhftpt@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (9491135998). There are no membership fees or monetary contributions required. All that is needed is a willingness to contribute your time and technical expertise selflessly.

Note:
By the grace of Almighty, during the past 12 years, we resolved many issues, through our systematic persuasions.

The following links cover some of our success stories

[Despite paying the demanded tax and obtaining the receipt of payment, the authorities have not updated their records and have continued to send the demand notices, for 5 years. As several personal and written representations, could not resolve the issue, the victim sought out help and we could resolve it.]

[This is the issue related to a lady from Kerala state, regarding her EPF withdrawal issue]

3. Ongoing struggle, since the year 2017:
Saptagiri Grameena Bank, with its HO at Chittoor, operates in the Chittoor District and the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, through its 235 Branches. More than 300 Casual Labours have been working in the Saptagiri Grameena Bank, as the Daily Wagers, since the year 1986, with a fond hope of becoming "Office Attendants [Regular Staff]" of the Bank. They don't have any job security. The Bank staff unions tried their level best for the past more than 10 to 15 years to provide some social security but miserably failed. Mr. Vijayakumar Reddy, the Saptagiri Grameena Bank Officers Association General Secretary contacted us in the year 2017 and requested us to take up the issue of the Casual Labours Social Security.

We took up this issue & started persuasions with the EPF Organization, in our systematic way, in the year 2017. As a result, the EPFO initiated an inquiry and ordered the Saptagiri Grameena Bank, through its order No. AP/RO/KDP/ENF/CTR/13273/2019 Dated 22.7.2019 to remit 4 Cores, 52 Lakh Rupees towards EPF contribution of the Daily Wagers Working in the Bank for the period from 04/1986 to 09/2018. The Bank filed an appeal in the CGIT-cum-Labour Court, Hyderabad, and got a stay order. The case was dismissed on 4.7.2023. Responding to our series of emails and RTI application regarding the subsequent action initiated by the EPFO for justice to the Temporary Employees, the EPFO attached the Saptagiri Grameena Bank's Bank Account with a substantial Balance on 16.11.2023. We are eagerly waiting for the developments.

To hasten the process, a case was filed in the AP State High Court on 19.7.2022. It was allotted - Main Number as WP21487/2022, Petitioner: C Venkatesulu Reddy, Respondent: Saptagiri Grameena Bank, Petitioner Advocate: G Poornasri.
An interim order was issued by the High Court on 20.7.2022, protecting the services of the Daily Wagers.
Anyone can find the latest position of this case online, by typing the above details in the AP State High Court website.

We are confident that - by the grace of Almighty, these Daily Wagers issues will be resolved soon and more than 300 families will be benefitted from the regularization of their services.
