Verse 2:258

Arabic: أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِى حَآجَّ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ فِى رَبِّهِۦٓ أَنْ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّىَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا۠ أُحْىِۦ وَأُمِيتُ ۖ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْتِى بِٱلشَّمْسِ مِنَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ ٱلْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ 

Phonetic: Alam tara ilal-ladhī ḥājja Ibrāhīma fī rabbihī an ātāhullāhul-mulk ۚ idh qāla Ibrāhīmu rabbiyal-ladhī yuḥyī wa yumīt ۚ qāla anā uḥyī wa umīt ۖ qāla Ibrāhīmu fa'innallāha ya'tī bish-shamsi minal-mashriqi fa'ti bihā minal-maghrib ۖ fabuhital-ladhī kafar ۗ wallāhu lā yahdil-qawmaẓ-ẓālimīn 

English Translation: Have you not considered the one who argued with Abraham (Ibrahim) about his Lord because Allah had given him kingship? When Abraham said, "My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death," he said, "I give life and cause death." Abraham said, "Indeed, Allah brings the sun from the east, so bring it from the west." So the disbeliever was dumbfounded. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): అల్లాహ్ అతనికి రాజ్యాధికారాన్ని ప్రసాదించినందుకు, తన ప్రభువు గురించి ఇబ్రాహీం (అబ్రహాము) తో వాదించిన వ్యక్తిని మీరు గమనించలేదా? ఇబ్రాహీం "నా ప్రభువు జీవింపజేసేవాడు మరియు మరణింపజేసేవాడు" అని అన్నప్పుడు, అతను "నేను జీవింపజేస్తాను మరియు మరణింపజేస్తాను" అని అన్నాడు. ఇబ్రాహీం "నిశ్చయంగా, అల్లాహ్ సూర్యుడిని తూర్పు నుండి తీసుకువస్తాడు, కాబట్టి నువ్వు దానిని పడమర నుండి తీసుకురా" అని అన్నాడు. అప్పుడు ఆ అవిశ్వాసి నిశ్శబ్దమైపోయాడు. మరియు అల్లాహ్ అన్యాయం చేసే ప్రజలకు మార్గదర్శకత్వం చేయడు.

Verse 2:259

Arabic: أَوْ كَٱلَّذِى مَرَّ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍۢ وَهِىَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّىٰ يُحْىِۦ هَٰذِهِ ٱللَّهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۖ فَأَمَاتَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِا۟ئَةَ عَامٍۢ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَ ۖ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍۢ ۖ قَالَ بَل لَّبِثْتَ مِا۟ئَةَ عَامٍۢ فَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْ ۖ وَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰ حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ وَٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْمًۭا ۖ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥ قَالَ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ 

Phonetic: Aw kalladhī marra 'alā qaryatinw wa hiya khāwiyatun 'alā 'urūshihā ۖ qāla annā yuḥyī hādhihillāhu ba'da mawtihā ۖ fa'amātahullāhu mi'ata 'āmin thumma ba'athah ۖ qāla kam labitht ۖ qāla labithtu yawman aw ba'ḍa yawm ۖ qāla bal labithta mi'ata 'āmin fa'unẓur ilā ṭa'āmika wa sharābika lam yatasannah ۖ wanẓur ilā ḥimārik ۖ wa linaj'alaka āyatal linnās ۖ wanẓur ilal-'iẓāmi kayfa nunshizuhā thumma naksūhā laḥmā ۖ falammā tabayyana lahū qāla a'lamu annallāha 'alā kulli shay'in qadīr 

English Translation: Or [consider] the one who passed by a town while it had fallen into ruin upon its roofs. He said, "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for one hundred years; then He resurrected him. He said, "How long have you remained?" He said, "I have remained a day or part of a day." He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones - how We raise them and then cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent." 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): లేదా ఒక నగరం మీదగా వెళుతున్న వ్యక్తిని [గమనించండి], అది దాని పైకప్పులపై శిథిలమై ఉంది. అతను "అల్లాహ్ దీన్ని మరణం తర్వాత ఎలా జీవింపజేస్తాడు?" అని అన్నాడు. అప్పుడు అల్లాహ్ అతన్ని వంద సంవత్సరాలు మరణింపజేసాడు; ఆపై అతన్ని పునరుత్థానం చేశాడు. [అల్లాహ్] "నువ్వు ఎంతకాలం ఉన్నావు?" అని అడిగాడు. అతను "నేను ఒక రోజు లేదా ఒక రోజులో కొంత భాగం ఉన్నాను" అని అన్నాడు. [అల్లాహ్] "లేదు, నువ్వు వంద సంవత్సరాలు ఉన్నావు. నీ ఆహారం మరియు పానీయం వైపు చూడు; అది మారలేదు. మరియు నీ గాడిద వైపు చూడు; మరియు మేము నిన్ను ప్రజలకు ఒక సంకేతంగా చేస్తాము. మరియు ఎముకల వైపు చూడు - మేము వాటిని ఎలా నిలబెడతాము మరియు ఆపై వాటిని మాంసంతో ఎలా కప్పుతాము." అది అతనికి స్పష్టమైనప్పుడు, అతను "నిశ్చయంగా అల్లాహ్ అన్ని విషయాలపై సామర్థ్యం కలవాడని నాకు తెలుసు" అని అన్నాడు.

Verse 2:260

Arabic: وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ رَبِّ أَرِنِى كَيْفَ تُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ قَالَ أَوَلَمْ تُؤْمِن ۖ قَالَ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِن لِّيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِى ۖ قَالَ فَخُذْ أَرْبَعَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلطَّيْرِ فَصُرْهُنَّ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ جَبَلٍۢ مِّنْهُنَّ جُزْءًۭا ثُمَّ ٱدْعُهُنَّ يَأْتِينَكَ سَعْيًا ۚ وَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ 

Phonetic: Wa idh qāla Ibrāhīmu Rabbi arinī kayfa tuḥyil-mawtā ۖ qāla awalam tu'min ۖ qāla balá wa lākin liyaṭma'inna qalbī ۖ qāla fakhudh arba'atam minaṭ-ṭayri faṣurhunna ilayka thummaj'al 'alā kulli jablim minhunna juz'āan thummad'uhunna ya'tīnaka sa'yā ۚ wa'lam annallāha 'azīzun ḥakīm 

English Translation: And [mention] when Abraham (Ibrahim) said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." [Allah] said, "Have you not believed?" He said, "Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied." [Allah] said, "Take four birds and incline them to yourself. Then put on every hill a portion of them; then call them - they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise." 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మరియు ఇబ్రాహీం (అబ్రహాము) "మా ప్రభూ, చనిపోయినవారికి నువ్వు ఎలా జీవింపజేస్తావో నాకు చూపించు" అని అన్నప్పుడు [జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోండి]. [అల్లాహ్] "నువ్వు విశ్వసించలేదా?" అని అన్నాడు. అతను "అవును, కానీ నా హృదయం సంతృప్తి చెందడానికే [నేను అడుగుతున్నాను]" అని అన్నాడు. [అల్లాహ్] "నాలుగు పక్షులను తీసుకో మరియు వాటిని నీ వైపు వంచుకో. ఆపై వాటిలో కొంత భాగాన్ని ప్రతి కొండపై ఉంచు; ఆపై వాటిని పిలువు - అవి నీ వద్దకు వేగంగా వస్తాయి. మరియు అల్లాహ్ అత్యంత శక్తిమంతుడు, మహా జ్ఞాని అని తెలుసుకోండి."

Verse 2:261

Arabic: مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِى كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةٍۢ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةٍۢ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُضَٰعِفُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ 

Phonetic: Mathalul-ladhīna yunfiqūna amwālahum fī sabīlillāhi kamathali ḥabbatin ambatat sab'a sanābila fī kulli sumbulatim mi'atu ḥabbah ۗ wallāhu yuḍā'ifu limay yashā' ۗ wallāhu wāsi'un 'alīm 

English Translation: The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): అల్లాహ్ మార్గంలో తమ సంపదను ఖర్చు చేసేవారి ఉదాహరణ ఒక ధాన్యపు గింజ వంటిది, అది ఏడు కంకులను పెంచుతుంది; ప్రతి కంకులో వంద గింజలు ఉంటాయి. మరియు అల్లాహ్ తాను కోరినవారికి [తన ప్రతిఫలాన్ని] అనేక రెట్లు పెంచుతాడు. మరియు అల్లాహ్ విశాలమైనవాడు, సర్వజ్ఞుడు.

Verse 2:262

Arabic: ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتْبِعُونَ مَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ مَنًّۭا وَلَآ أَذًۭى لَّهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 

Phonetic: Alladhīna yunfiqūna amwālahum fī sabīlillāhi thumma lā yutbi'ūna mā anfaqū mannaw wa lā adhā lahum ajruhum 'inda rabbihim wa lā khawfun 'alayhim wa lā hum yaḥzanūn 

English Translation: Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah and then do not follow up what they have spent with reminders [of it] or [other] injury - their reward is with their Lord, and there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): అల్లాహ్ మార్గంలో తమ సంపదను ఖర్చు చేసి, ఆపై వారు ఖర్చు చేసిన దానిని జ్ఞాపికలు [గుర్తుచేయడం] లేదా [ఇతర] హానితో అనుసరించనివారు - వారి ప్రతిఫలం వారి ప్రభువు వద్ద ఉంటుంది, వారికి ఎటువంటి భయం ఉండదు, మరియు వారు దుఃఖించరు.

Verse 2:263

Arabic: قَوْلٌۭ مَّعْرُوفٌۭ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌۭ مِّن صَدَقَةٍۢ يَتْبَعُهَآ أَذًۭى ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَلِيمٌ 

Phonetic: Qawlum ma'rūfum wa maghfiratun khayrum min ṣadaqatin yatba'uhā adhā ۗ wallāhu ghaniyyun ḥalīm 

English Translation: Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Free of Need and Forbearing. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): దయగల మాట మరియు క్షమాపణ, హానితో కూడిన దానధర్మాల కంటే ఉత్తమం. మరియు అల్లాహ్ సమృద్ధిగలవాడు (దేని అవసరం లేనివాడు), సహనశీలి.

Verse 2:264

Arabic: يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُبْطِلُوا۟ صَدَقَٰتِكُم بِٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلْأَذَىٰ كَٱلَّذِى يُنفِقُ مَالَهُۥ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ فَمَثَلُهُۥ كَمَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْهِ تُرَابٌۭ فَأَصَابَهُۥ وَابِلٌۭ فَتَرَكَهُۥ صَلْدًۭا ۖ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍۢ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ 

Phonetic: Yā ayyuhalladhīna āmanū lā tubṭilū ṣadaqātikum bil-manni wal-adhā kalladhī yunfiqu mālahū ri'ā'an-nāsi wa lā yu'minu billāhi wal-yawmil-ākhir ۖ famathaluhū kamathali ṣafwānin 'alayhi turābun fa'aṣābahū wābilun fatarakahū ṣaldā ۖ lā yaqdirūna 'alá shay'im mimmā kasabū ۗ wallāhu lā yahdil-qawmal-kāfirīn 

English Translation: O you who have believed, do not invalidate your charities with reminders or injury like one who spends his wealth [only] to be seen by the people and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like that of a smooth rock covered with dust which is hit by a heavy rain, leaving it bare. They are unable [to keep] anything of what they earned. And Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): ఓ విశ్వసించినవారలారా, తమ సంపదను ప్రజలకు చూపించుకోవడానికి ఖర్చు చేసే మరియు అల్లాహ్‌ను, అంతిమ దినాన్ని విశ్వసించని వ్యక్తి వలె మీ దానధర్మాలను జ్ఞాపికలు లేదా హానితో నిష్ప్రయోజనం చేయకండి. అతని ఉదాహరణ దుమ్ముతో కప్పబడిన ఒక నునుపైన రాయి వంటిది, దానిపై భారీ వర్షం కురిసి అది బోసిపోతుంది. వారు సంపాదించిన దానిలో ఏదీ [నిలుపుకోలేరు]. మరియు అల్లాహ్ అవిశ్వాస ప్రజలకు మార్గదర్శకత్వం చేయడు.

Verse 2:265

Arabic: وَمَثَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمُ ٱبْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ ٱللَّهِ وَتَثْبِيتًۭا مِّنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ كَمَثَلِ جَنَّةٍۭ بِرَبْوَةٍ أَصَابَهَا وَابِلٌۭ فَـَٔاتَتْ أُكُلَهَا ضِعْفَيْنِ فَإِن لَّمْ يُصِبْهَا وَابِلٌۭ فَطَلٌّۭ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 

Phonetic: Wa mathalul-ladhīna yunfiqūna amwālahumu-btighā'a marḍātillāhi wa tathbītam min anfusihim kamathali jannatim birabwatin aṣābahā wābilun fa'ātat ukulahā ḍi'fayn ۖ fa'in lam yuṣibhā wābilun faṭall ۗ wallāhu bimā ta'malūna baṣīr 

English Translation: And the example of those who spend their wealth seeking means to the approval of Allah and assuring [themselves of the reward] of their souls is like a garden on a elevation which receives heavy rain - so it yields its fruit in double. And if it does not receive heavy rain, then a [light] drizzle is sufficient. And Allah is Seeing of what you do. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మరియు అల్లాహ్ ఆమోదాన్ని కోరుతూ మరియు తమ ఆత్మలకు [ప్రతిఫలాన్ని] నిర్ధారించుకుంటూ తమ సంపదను ఖర్చు చేసేవారి ఉదాహరణ ఒక ఎత్తు ప్రదేశంలో ఉన్న తోట వంటిది, దీనికి భారీ వర్షం పడుతుంది - కాబట్టి అది రెట్టింపు ఫలాలను ఇస్తుంది. మరియు దానికి భారీ వర్షం పడకపోతే, అప్పుడు ఒక [చిన్న] చినుకు కూడా సరిపోతుంది. మరియు అల్లాహ్ మీరు చేసేదంతా చూస్తున్నాడు.

Verse 2:266

Arabic: أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌۭ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلْكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّيَّةٌۭ ضُعَفَآءُ فَأَصَابَهَآ إِعْصَارٌۭ فِيهِ نَارٌۭ فَٱحْتَرَقَتْ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ 

Phonetic: Ayawaddu aḥadukum an takūna lahū jannatum min nakhīlinw wa a'nābin tajrī min taḥtihal-anhāru lahū fīhā min kullith-thamarāti wa aṣābahul-kibaru wa lahū dhurriyyatun ḍu'afā'u fa'aṣābahā i'ṣārun fīhi nārun faḥtaraqat ۗ kadhālika yubayyinullāhu lakumul-āyāti la'allakum tatafakkarūn 

English Translation: Would any of you wish to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every [kind of] fruit, while he has reached old age and has weak offspring, and then a whirlwind with fire strikes it and it burns? Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses that you might give thought. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మీలో ఎవరైనా ఒక తోటను కలిగి ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటారా - దానిలో ఖర్జూర వృక్షాలు మరియు ద్రాక్ష తోటలు, వాటి క్రింద నదులు ప్రవహిస్తూ, అన్ని రకాల పండ్లు కలిగి ఉండి, అతను వృద్ధాప్యానికి చేరుకొని బలహీనమైన సంతానం కలిగి ఉన్నప్పుడు, అప్పుడు అగ్నితో కూడిన ఒక సుడిగాలి దానిని తాకి అది కాలిపోతుంది? ఈ విధంగా అల్లాహ్ తన వచనాలను మీకు స్పష్టం చేస్తాడు, తద్వారా మీరు ఆలోచించవచ్చు.

Verse 2:267

Arabic: يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ وَمِمَّآ أَخْرَجْنَا لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَلَا تَيَمَّمُوا۟ ٱلْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنفِقُونَ وَلَسْتُم بِـَٔاخِذِيهِ إِلَّآ أَن تُغْمِضُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ 

Phonetic: Yā ayyuhalladhīna āmanū anfiqū min ṭayyibāti mā kasabtum wa mimmā akhrajnā lakum minal-arḍ ۖ wa lā tayammamul-khabītha minhu tunfiqūna wa lastum bi'ākhidhīhi illā an tughmiḍū fīh ۚ wa'lamū annallāha ghaniyyun ḥamīd 

English Translation: O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim for what is bad [and] spend [from it], while you would not take it yourselves except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of Need and Praiseworthy. 

Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): ఓ విశ్వసించినవారలారా, మీరు సంపాదించిన మంచి వాటిలో నుండి మరియు మేము మీ కోసం భూమి నుండి ఉత్పత్తి చేసిన వాటిలో నుండి ఖర్చు చేయండి. మరియు చెడు [మరియు] దాని నుండి ఖర్చు చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకోకండి, మీరు కళ్ళు మూసుకుంటే తప్ప మీరు దానిని తీసుకోరు. మరియు అల్లాహ్ సమృద్ధిగలవాడు (దేని అవసరం లేనివాడు), ప్రశంసనీయుడు అని తెలుసుకోండి.
