Verse 2:28

• Arabic: كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَٰتًا فَأَحْيَٰكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
• Phonetic: Kayfa takfurūna billāhi wa kuntum amwātan fa aḥyākum, thumma yumītukum thumma yuḥyīkum thumma ilayhi turja'ūn
• English Translation: How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మీరు అల్లాహ్‌ను ఎలా నమ్మకుండా ఉంటారు? మీరు అసలు జీవం లేకుండా ఉన్నారు, ఆయనే మీకు ప్రాణం పోశాడు; తర్వాత మిమ్మల్ని చంపేస్తాడు, మళ్ళీ ప్రాణం పోస్తాడు, ఆపై ఆయన వద్దకే మీరు తిరిగి వస్తారు.

Verse 2:29

• Arabic: هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
• Phonetic: Huwal-ladhī khalaqa lakum mā fil-arḍi jamī'an thummastawā ilas-samā'i fasawwāhunna sab'a samāwāt, wa huwa bikulli shay'in 'Alīm
• English Translation: It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): భూమి మీద ఉన్నదంతా మీ కోసమే సృష్టించినవాడు ఆయనే. ఆ తర్వాత ఆకాశం వైపు మళ్ళి, దాన్ని ఏడు ఆకాశాలుగా చక్కగా చేశాడు, ఇంకా ఆయన ప్రతీది తెలిసినవాడు.

Verse 2:30

• Arabic: وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
• Phonetic: Wa idh qāla rabbuka lil-malā'ikati innī jā'ilun fil-arḍi khalīfah, qālū ataj'alu fīhā man yufsidu fīhā wa yasfikud-dimā'a wa naḥnu nusabbiḥu biḥamdika wa nuqaddisu lak, qāla innī a'lamu mā lā ta'lamūn
• English Translation: And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): [ఓ ముహమ్మద్,] నీ ప్రభువు దేవదూతలతో, "నిజంగా, నేను భూమిపై ఒక ప్రతినిధిని నియమించబోతున్నాను" అని చెప్పినప్పుడు గుర్తుచేసుకో. అప్పుడు దేవదూతలు, "నువ్వు అక్కడ అల్లర్లు సృష్టించి, రక్తం పారించే వాళ్ళను ఉంచుతావా? మేము నీ కీర్తనలు పాడుతూ, నిన్ను పవిత్రంగా ఆరాధిస్తున్నాం కదా?" అని అడిగారు. అల్లాహ్, "నిజంగా, మీకు తెలియనిది నాకు తెలుసు" అన్నాడు.

Verse 2:31

• Arabic: وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ
• Phonetic: Wa 'allama Ādamal-asmā'a kullahā thumma 'araḍahum 'alal-malā'ikati faqāla anbi'ūnī bi'asmā'i hā'ulā'i in kuntum ṣādiqīn
• English Translation: And He taught Adam the names — all of them. Then He presented them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మరియు ఆయన ఆదమ్‌కు అన్ని పేర్లనూ నేర్పించాడు. తర్వాత వాటిని దేవదూతలకు చూపించి, "మీరు నిజం చెప్పే వారైతే, వీటి పేర్లు నాకు చెప్పండి" అన్నాడు.

Verse 2:32

• Arabic: قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
• Phonetic: Qālū subḥānaka lā 'ilma lanā illā mā 'allamtanā, innaka Antal-'Alīmul-Ḥakīm
• English Translation: They said, "Exalted are You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise."
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): వాళ్ళు, "నీవు సర్వోన్నతుడివి! నువ్వు మాకు నేర్పిన జ్ఞానం తప్ప మాకు ఇంకేమీ తెలియదు. నిజంగా, నీవే సర్వజ్ఞుడివి, మహా వివేకవంతుడివి" అన్నారు.

Verse 2:33

• Arabic: قَالَ يَٰٓءَادَمُ أَنۢبِـْٔهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ
• Phonetic: Qāla yā Ādamu anbi'hum bi'asmā'ihim, falammā anba'ahum bi'asmā'ihim qāla alam aqul lakum innī a'lamu ghaybas-samāwāti wal-arḍi wa a'lamu mā tubdūna wa mā kuntum taktumūn
• English Translation: He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): ఆయన, "ఓ ఆదమ్, వాటి పేర్లు వాళ్ళకు చెప్పు" అన్నాడు. ఆదమ్ వాటి పేర్లు దేవదూతలకు చెప్పగానే, ఆయన, "ఆకాశాలలో, భూమిలో ఉన్న రహస్యాలు నాకు తెలుసని నేను మీకు చెప్పలేదా? మీరు బయటపెట్టినది, దాచినది నాకు తెలుసు" అన్నాడు.

Verse 2:34

• Arabic: وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
• Phonetic: Wa idh qulnā lil-malā'ikatis-judū li'Ādama fasajadū illā Iblīsa abā wastakbara wa kāna minal-kāfirīn
• English Translation: And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblis. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మరియు మేము దేవదూతలతో, "ఆదమ్‌కు సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారం చేయండి" అని చెప్పినప్పుడు [గుర్తుచేసుకోండి]; అప్పుడు ఇబ్లీస్ తప్ప అందరూ సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారం చేశారు. వాడు నిరాకరించాడు, అహంకరించాడు, మరియు అవిశ్వాసులలో ఒకడైపోయాడు.

Verse 2:35

• Arabic: وَقُلْنَا يَٰٓءَادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
• Phonetic: Wa qulnā yā Ādamuskun Anta wa zawjukal-jannata wa kulā minhā raghadan ḥaythu shi'tumā wa lā taqrabā hādhihish-shajarata fatakūnā minaẓ-ẓālimīn
• English Translation: And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your spouse, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
• Telugu Meaning (సాధారణంగా మాట్లాడే తెలుగులో): మరియు మేము, "ఓ ఆదమ్, నువ్వు మరియు నీ భార్య స్వర్గంలో నివసించండి, అక్కడ మీరు కోరుకున్న చోట నుండి సుఖంగా, సమృద్ధిగా తినండి, కానీ ఈ చెట్టును మాత్రం సమీపించకండి, అలా చేస్తే మీరు అన్యాయం చేసినవాళ్ళలో అవుతారు" అని చెప్పాము.

Verse 2:36

• Arabic: فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
• Phonetic: Fa azallahumash-Shayṭānu 'anhā fa akhrajahumā mimmā kānā fīhi, wa qulnahbiṭū ba'ḍukum liba'ḍin 'aduw(w), wa lakum fil-arḍi mustaqarruw wa matā'un ilā ḥīn
• English Translation: But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [state of ease] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [being] enemies to one another. And you will have on earth a place of settlement and enjoyment for a time."

Verse 2:37

• Arabic: فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
• Phonetic: Fatalaqqā Ādamu mir rabbihī kalimātin fatāba 'alayh, innahū Huwat-Tawwābur-Raḥīm
• English Translation: Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepter of repentance, the Merciful.
