The Beginning...!!!

My Self-Introduction

Hello, my dear friends,
Greetings.

I am hereunder furnishing the details of mine; so that my friends can know about me and my life's journey from childhood to now.

I am Abdul Naseer Mohammad, year of birth is 1959. Hence, the present age is 64+ years.

My native place is Tirupati, the famous temple town, located in the  Andhra Pradesh State, in India.

My innocent childhood and primary schooling were in Hyderabad because my father was working in the Secretariat, Hyderabad. From the 1st class to the 9th class half, I studied in the SNR High School, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad.

As my father got official promotion in the year 1972 as the BDO [Block Development Officer]  and got posted to Chinnagottigallu Village, Chittoor District of AP State, we shifted our family from Hyderabad to Chinnagottigallu. Remaining second half of the 9th class, I studied at the Government High School, Chinnagottigallu, Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

Due to my father's transfer from Chinnagottigallu to Puttur of Chittoor District, we shifted our family to Puttur, in the year 1973. My 10th class [1973-74] and Intermediate 1st year [1974-75] studies were at SRS Govt. Jr. College, Puttur, Chittoor Dist. of Andhra Pradesh.
Following is the photo taken for the 10th exam Hall ticket, when my age was 15 years old.

My Intermediate 2nd year [1975 - 76] was at Govt. Jr. College, Nagari, Chittoor Dist. of Andhra Pradesh. It was because of my father's official transfer from Puttur to Satyavedu. Though there was a Junior College at Satyavedu, in that college, there was not a chance to study Hindi as a second language. As I took Hindi as my second language, in my first-year intermediate course, I opted to join in the Junior College at Nagari, as my Aunt's [my mother's sister] family was there. Hence, I took a room on rent, near my Aunt's house and completed the Intermediate course.

After the Intermediate course, I would like to join in Medical course.
The following photo was taken for the medical course entrance exam Hall ticket.

As I could not get a seat in the medical course, I joined the Graduation course.
I graduated [1976 - 79] B Sc [BZC] from the SGS Arts College, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
After completing my graduation, I came to know that in North India, some universities are offering 3-year M Sc(Ag) courses to science graduates. The first year of the course is called the "Remedial Course", in which the main subjects of the B Sc(Ag) course will be taught and in the subsequent 2 years, the candidates are allowed to do the regular M Sc(Ag course).
In this process, I visited various colleges situated at Nagpur, Allahabad, Banaras, and Ballia. At Ballia there is such a possibility for the B.Sc graduate to do an M.Sc(Ag) course.
Hence, I did my Post Graduation in M.Sc(Ag) in Agricultural Economics, from the SMMTPG College, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh.

After completing my post-graduation, I came back from Ballia to Eluru of West Godavari District of AP State, where my parents, brother & sisters were residing. At that time, my father was working as the DPO [District Panchayat Officer] of the West Godavari District.

I wanted to enter into the state government Group - 1 services, through the APPSC. So I joined the coaching center at Hyderabad and prepared for the competitive exams. One day, during the middle of December 1983, I received a phone call from my brother to come immediately to Guntur Medical College Hospital, as my father was seriously ill and hospitalized. I reached Guntur and after a week or so, my father died on 23.12.1983.

I am the eldest son of my parents, followed by a sister, a brother, and then a sister. After the demise of my father, I took the responsibilities of my family, as the eldest son. As my elder sister was already married and residing with her husband, there was my mother, brother, and younger unmarried sister in my family, to be taken care of.

As my brother completed Intermediate and was not interested in further studies, my father was trying to establish some business, for his living. Since my father died, while in the service, with the help of known officials, we could pursue and get a government job for my brother, as Junior Assistant in the State Excise Department, on compassionate grounds, during the year 1984.

After my brother's settlement in the job, I started preparing for the Bank job competitive exams. Following was the photo taken at that time.

During the September month of 1985, through the BSRB selection process, I joined the S V Grameena Bank, first as the Field Supervisor cadre Officer. Again I got selected as the Branch Manager Cadre officer, in the same year. Hence, I resigned from the Post of Field Supervisor and rejoined on 9.1.1986, in the same Bank, in the Branch Manager cadre officer post.

We performed my younger sister's marriage during the year 1990, my marriage during the year 1991, and my Brother's marriage in the year 1995, after he got official Promotion as the Sub-Inspector of Excise.

After working for more than 23 years in various positions in the Bank, resigned from the Bank job in the year 2009.

To pursue my passion for helping the needy, I have been involved in social service activities, since the year 2010 onwards. I have registered a trust by the name “Helping Hands Foundation” for this purpose.

The following link will give you the details of our Helping Hands Foundation.

At present, I am residing in Chennai along with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.

During these 60 years of life, I have passed through many ups & downs, including serious depression. As a result, I have many rich experiences.

After the announcement of the Nationwide Lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, in March 2020, I started sharing my experiences through WhatsApp broadcast method, in daily write-up form, to all my known persons. The intention behind these write-ups is to enlighten the younger generations, about various facets of life.

One of my friends, Mr. Prabhu Shankar, a software professional suggested that - creating a blog and posting these write-ups on it, will be beneficial to many youngsters.

Hence, this blog is created to share my experiences, thoughts, and opinions, so that the readers will have an opportunity to refine their thought process and lead life, in a better way.

Hope you will enjoy reading the study material, to be posted in this blog, from time to time.

Note: Till my adulthood, I was NOT interested in human relationships. Therefore, I don't have many close friends in my life.
After attending the "Jeevan Vidya online workshop", I realized the importance of relationships.
Hence, now I am seriously trying to "nurture" the already existing relationships & taking the initiative to build new relationships with others, to the extent possible.
